An Algerian man wanted in connection with Paris bombings 10 years ago has lost what could be his final extradition hearings and may soon be on his way to France.

Rachid Ramda has been held in high security British jails since his arrest on a French warrant soon after the 1995 attacks. The bombings left 10 people dead and nearly 250 injured and are the worst in France since World War Two. The case has soured relations between Britain and France with Paris accusing London of acting as a haven for Islamic militants. Ramda now has 14 days to lodge an appeal at Britain’s highest court – the House of Lords.
