The waiting continues inside and outside the hospital where Ariel Sharon is being treated. Doctors are trying to bring the Israeli Prime Minister out of an induced coma. Sharon’s son Omri has been playing Mozart symphonies at his bedside to elicit a response from his father.

Sharon has shown further improvement, moving his left side for the first time since suffering a massive stroke. Doctors say he remains in a critical but stable condition. A group of US congresswomen gathered outside the hospital to pray for Sharon and wish him a speedy recovery. Israelis are keeping a nationwide vigil for their 77-year-old leader.
