Samsung keeps leadership in the family

South Korea’s biggest company, Samsung, is keeping it in the family by promoting the chairman’s son to the position of president. 42-year old Lee Jae-yong, whose grandfather founded Samsung, will also remain as CEO. The move carries on the family-run “chaebol” business model that has been both credited with and blamed for South Korea’s economic ups and downs.
