Obama visits tornado struck Joplin

Barack Obama has visited the obliterated Missouri town of Joplin where one week ago America’s worst tornado in decades left more than 140 people dead.

The president comforted the homeless and bereaved and vowed to support the devastated community saying their tragedy was the nation’s tragedy.
