Inflation in the eurozone for the month of October remained unchanged from September at three per cent according to Eurostat, the EU statistics agency.

It is still above the European Central Bank’s target of two per cent, but analysts have suggested the rate may fall in the coming months.

The Irish Republic at 1.1 per cent and Greece, 2.9 per cent were the lowest. Estonia, Slovakia and Portugal had the highest with figures of four per cent or above.
