Minis on the march in Johannesburg protest

The miniskirt hit the streets of Johannesburg.

Women marched in protest over an assault on two women who were attacked for wearing that same piece of clothing.

The organisers said they wanted to end, “patriarchal views still entrenched in parts of South Africa society.”

The two women were attacked while wearing miniskirts at a Johannesburg taxi rank in December, allegedly by waiting drivers.
