BMW loses cruise control Carmaker Volkswagen says its heading for another year of record sales.
The company says vehicle sales could top last year’s total of 8.3 million and that 2012 profits should also be up.
VW’s stated goal is to become the world’s largest and most profitable carmaker by 2018.
Strongest growth has been emerging markets including India, China and Latin America.
