The Czech Republic head to Euro2012 fancying their chances of qualifying out of a relatively easy Group A that includes co-hosts Poland, Russia and Greece.
With the safe hands of recent champions league winner Peter Czech in goal and on-form Jaroslav Plasil patrolling the midfield – both of whom played key roles in the side’s qualification – it’s the other end of the field that needs the most attention.
A resurgent Tomas Rosicky has boosted confidence levels with a stunning end to the season for Arsenal but if the Czech’s are to do any real damage up front Galatasaray striker Milan Baros will have to rediscover the scoring touch that made him the Golden Boot winner eight years ago.
The Czech Republic’s first Euro2012 match is against Russia on June 8.
