Israel’s Gay Pride has taken place in Tel Aviv, attracting tourists from all over the world.

One survey named the city international Gay Capital last year, but anti-gay sentiment is still common in the Ultra-Orthodox Jewish community.

Israel does not allow same sex couples to marry but has granted them other benefits including the right to adopt.
