Former Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko scored a brace of goals to hand co-hosts Ukraine a thrilling 2-1 win over Sweden at the Olimpiyskyi stadium in Kiev on Monday.
 
Coach Oleg Blokhin, who took over last April after two appointments that proved less than successful,
opted for a more attacking formation which enabled his side to get back into the game after Zlatan Ibrahimovic had put the visitors in front after 52 minutes.
