With less than 24 hours to go before Spain and Portugal face off for a place in the final of Euro 2012 at the Donbass Arena, Donetsk feels like a ghost town.

Despite Ukraine’s efforts to be ready in time for UEFA’s flagship event, it seems as though the tournament has not caught the public mood.

To prepare for the event, Ukraine has built 3 new stadiums and modernised the Olympic Stadium which will host the final on the 1st of July.

According to reports, ticket prices have gone down in Donetsk and officials fear that the highly anticipated clash between the World Champions and Portugal will take place before a sea of empty seats.
