The London Olympics get underway one month from now with fighter jets screaming overhead, surface to air missiles perched on rooftops and an aircraft carrier docked on the River Thames.

Security is a major issue for the London games and not since World War II have Britain and the United States cooperated on such a scale.

State-of-the-art Israeli technology has been installed in public transport and VIP cars to allow an operator to take control of the vehicle in the case of a hijacking.

Intelligence officials say there is no specific or credible threats to the London games. The security level rests at substantial, which indicates an attack is a strong possibility.
