Heavy rain and more floods expected in UK

The UK Environment Agency has issued severe flood warnings after forecasts of more than one month’s worth of rain in just 24 hours.

Areas affected will be the north, east and Midlands in England and much of Wales.

This year has already seen the wettest June in Britain since records began in 1910.
