On the red carpet Marilyn Monroe is being given a full star tribute by The Hollywood Museum.
The highlight is a collection of photos by George Barris, a good friend of Monroe. He was collaborating with her on a book and took her last photoshoot before her untimely death at the age of just 36.
Amongst other pieces on show is the black dress she wore when she entertained US troops in Korea.
