Hugo Chavez on the campaign trail with Sean Penn

Hollywood actor Sean Penn appeared at an election rally in Venezuela in support of left-wing President Hugo Chavez who’s hoping to win a new six year term in October.

Addressing a crowd in the central city of Valencia, Chavez thanked Penn for his attendance.

The actor is well-known for his political and social activism.
