Nearly 7,000 Syrians have sought sanctuary in neighbouring Turkey, which has set up four refugee camps for them at the Boynuyogun camp near the Turkey-Syria border. According to Syrian rights groups, 1,300 civilians have already been killed since the start of the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad’s rule.
